They are shopaholics… they love drinking and the casino and playing cards, they spend money like it grows on trees… They start wanting to send money home every month, they want GOLD, GOLD GOLD… then they want you to build a house in Thailand…  It goes on and on… and all because they have been brain-washed in the bar to think and act like that…. a few years later… divorce and the guy loses everything he built in Thailand and many times half of everything in their home country too.

You can take a girl out of the bar – but you can never take the bar out of the girl.

The real Thai wife that you meet via a personal contact is very very different….
